You (and several others) think Willie was a bad coach, and expressed it here several times a blog.

I think Willie had some strategy issues, but was good for this group, and I think I should be able to express that opinion also, just because I don't swallow the BS doesn't mean I'm a troll.

thats a very valid question there.... another is would gallant even come back after the way he was treated

I think Gallant suits their need of a players type coach that doesnt put all of his eggs into the analytics basket. Really hoping he is the guy.

yes gallant is a good choice.

Hitchcock short term might get some great results.

It was an explanation to lighten up, you are 75% right above, three quarters of the players sucked and parts of the coaching sucked.

I would venture that Willie will be successful with better talent, but lets wait and see.

If you were Gallant would you go back to the organization that dumped you in the manner it did? I realize Tallon wasn't GM but Rowe is still employed by them. Also, what kind of message does it send bringing him back?

Heard too many stories about how hated he was that I dont think we need to risk him pushing the wrong buttons with some of our top prospects.

My brother is down in the states for school and was chatting to an NCAA kid who was at Blues prospect camp a few years back who told him that was wasnt going to sign there because they heard of a physical altercation between Hitch and Backes. I dont want a notoriously hated guy involved with the organization at all, regardless of how soft Vancouver is

I agree, there have been a few coaches that have become available during the season and they didnt make a move for them.

Ruff is the only one thats been recent, so I wonder if he's their target or if they are signalling Green to not take other interviews

Word is Ruff was spotted at YVR moments ago... still hoping for Gallant.
