Nice deflection. Nobody is crying that he got fired, we could all see it coming from miles away.

Oddly enough, it's been the coach's fault for 3 straight coaches now. We keep getting worse.

Maybe the team just sucks and the coach is an easy scapegoat.

Well that's better than trying to fire 20 guys, can only go two ways, fire the coach or fire the players..

Let's keep the toxic country club atmosphere going feeling, it's all about the players feelings
- CanuckDon

this isnt about feelings. The new kids are from Generation Z, they have a stronger belief in themselves than previous generations and require more guidance to where they need to go, rather than just being told. You can try outdated methods but you'll get tuned out pretty quick

I dont think Willie deserved it, but the media made it pretty hard for him to return. Even down to the last couple games they were criticizing who was being matched against McDavid this weekend, but then at the same time embracing the tank

Desjardins had some weakness but basically had an AHL roster to work with for much of the season. Players like Chaput, Shmegma, Labate, Boucher, Biega, Larsen, Skille, Grenier, Camarosa, Shore, were playing way over their heads
