Yes we do...
finishing 5 from bottom pushes us to the 6th pick with LV factored in.
and unless all the 1-3 lotto picks are won by teams in front of us we move further back in line...potentially to 9th in worst case scenario.
I would bet on a 7th overall pick...but am obviously hoping for that love to get us into top 3

Fewest power plays in 52 years. Considering we had the number one powerplay, it could have been a different season if we were awarded more pps. then again our pk was atrocious, so it would probably have leveled out

We scored about once every 4 PP attempts, if they doubled the amount of penalties per game, and we still scored 1/4 attemps, it wouldn't make a considerable difference.

Maybe a few more wins, not 16 points worth IMO

Problem is we don't have the puck enough 5 on 5 to generate PP opportunities

You're right. After doing the math the difference between PP goals for and PK goals against is ~5 goals aka meaningless
