I think we all agree that building down the middle is smart, right?
Sam is easily the most talented of our options
I like him fine at wing, but wouldn't his passing skills be better used if he's in the middle?
He already plays well in front of the net on the PP
I feel like he should be able to be good defensively as well,
although I admit he looked lost/unmotivated in his own end this year a lot more than I'd like
Bylsma has said he wants to see more of him at center,
and I think he's looked pretty good there when Jack or ROR have been hurt

Plus it's his natural position
I think giving him an extended look there makes sense
Maybe then we will see this "leap" that many on here are expecting
