I've asked before, who exactly is Bylsma holding back? Our important players are producing what's expected. Kane is fine, ROR is fine, Eichel is great. Risto needs to be better in areas and that's maybe a little on Bylsma, but not much else

I'd rather buyout or bury Gorges than have him on this roster in any capacity. Bogosian has the smallest sliver of upside, that maybe sometimes he can do something good. Gorges doesn't

Not sure if you saw my earlier posts. 50% of the way there is about right. Okposo going down hurts a ton as it leaves a huge hole in the top 6 where we were 2 players short already.
GMTM needs for special powers to be granted unto him to make a couple of miracle moves this year.
Also, moving Kane or Reinhart for a D, just makes the top 6 holes even bigger.

We've had either multiple 1st round picks or have drafted 2nd overall from 2012-2015 (4 drafts), then drafted 8th in '16.

The rest of the game is PK, matchups, and line combinations to maximize effort and results. If they can't see that coaching is a HUGE problem then they are dumb.

We win the lottery and we don't move the pick. It may not be considered a deep draft, but the first pick should land you a stud. A top pairing dman (Faulk) is the only thing you could trade it for, and I'm not sure if other teams will value the pick that much.

Not like the stupid "most systems are really the same." thing that Bylsma said.) and you can see they're actually allowed to, you know, play offense on the PP, and usually that's an assistant's job to run the PP anyway, and another assistant on the PK, a guy for forwards, a guy for goalies and a guy for D. It's a lot like football. They just don't have the titles that football coaches do.
