How about Ralph Krueger?
The guys has a major in Psychology and is great with kids. Has experience with Lucas Sbisa. And I am sure he would love to get another shot at NHL and stick it to the oilers for tufting him in favor of Eakins. - Linden_4_Capt
Doubt Kruger would leave his very high paying position he has now.
I think Leif would be the perfect coach for thes team of super soft players and the super soft ones that the fans here keep bringing up to be our top 5 pick ie Hischier, Middlestadt, Makar and Liljegren.
He seems do be doing a decent job of coaching the Swedish ladies maybe he can do a good job of coaching our Vancouver ladies.

He would be good but he wouldn't be interested in a career demotion and pay decrease. |

Because its still helmed by the two people that have lead a capped out team into this mess. Linden's job is to provide A Vision, Jimbo's job is to get the parts for that. Neither has done that part of their job consistently or effectively.
All this is just so eerily Oilers before they lucked into McDavid to bandaid over all the sins of management past. - Lindenis#1
The mess and capped out team was already here before they came on board. They just tried to ease the pain of a turnaround. Did not take. Now they have been doing more since February to embrace more pain for gain. |

I remember hearing that last year. And then they went and dumped a bunch of money on Eriksson, assets for Gudbranson and wouldn't shut up about "Making the playoffs"
There are 4 cap commitments on this team that aren't Benning contracts. Twins, Edler, Tanev. Sbisa, Sutter, Eriksson, Dorsett and whatever Gudbranson gets are the guys making for cap trouble. Not the guys from previous management. |

All that means is Aquaman will have to pay more. Don't be a cap team this coming year and give that extra millions to Ralph.
He did leave the team in the middle of the season to come over and coach the International team at the Worlds. He still loves hockey and has a burning desire to show that he can do it at this level.
EPL season is over in a couple months. Well before the Draft. Just saying. |

I think people overestimate how good of a coach Krueger is based off 48 games of mediocre hockey, and then getting outshot 2 to 1 and 3 to 2 with .950 goaltending every game in a boring pre-season tournament
Plus, he still works with Hockey Canada and Babcock, and the Swiss program has him consult. In an Olympic year he'll be plenty busy. |

If you could get him away from Southampton, I'd be all for it, I would imagine his salary with a Premiership club as chairman would be more than FA is willing to match. |

WD for the last month has reminded me of George Costanza driving around the parking lot with the world series trophy attached to his bumper of his car.
Willie had Dallas on his mind and did everything he could to piss off JB and TL

Scooby was right. we get Nico aka the best player in the draft - CanuckDon
Cody Glass at 3 is a bit of a surprise. I would have thought 6 or 7. I would be fine if he ends up as a Canuck if we fall in draft order to 4 or 5. |

Button's mock list is always bizzare and doesn't reflect his actual rankings that closely. Although, he does have Glass at 7 in his personal list. |
