I did not construct this roster either way you're (frank)ed you need a defenseman you need to trade a forward you're going to have holes either way

You trade a prospect forward you're going to have to trade for forward in the future that means - another defense or draft pick

from what I have read, and a Canes fan that has posted on here confirmed, Pesce, Slavin, and Hanifin look to be the future of that blue line. They also have Murphy and Fluery.

They don't have a great top 9 in terms of forwards though. 23 or 9 would be an upgrade for them.
