He needs someone to a) bounce ideas off of, b) give some guidance and c) someone to answer to in a timely manner. Otherwise, if Pegula is going to spend more time on the Sabres, a VP of operations is kind of redundant.

I'm going to have to disagree here I think overseas is better for development laine , nylander , Matthews did it and it helped them become the players they are now
