Yeah but we both know that teams step it up in the playoffs to a whole new level
What happens if the Sabres were already playing at that level? ( And that's not a very good level ) - GERBE!!!75PTS

Listening to Murray's press conference right now. Mike Harrington is a douche but I laughed at his line: "Everybody knows Terry is out looking at quarterbacks."

How they even let that rat (frank) in the room is beyond me. Just be like Trump and yell fake news at him and refuse to answer his questions.

Most markets have at least one of those. Larry Brooks in NYC comes to mind. It's part of the job.
Hawks are the popular pick this year amongst the 9 of us who did the bracket challenge. 3 of us picked them, the Pens and Caps both got 2, and the Oilers and Sharks round out the group with 1 each.
For the East:
Rangers over Canadiens 5-4 (Upset)
Bruins over Sens 8-1
Caps over Leafs 8-1
Pens over Blue Jackets 7-2
On to the West:
Blackhawks over Preds 9-0
Wild over Blues 7-2
Ducks over Flames 6-3
Oilers over Sharks 5-4
We're, as a group, predicting only one upset with the Rangers over the Canadiens. And one unanimous decision picking the Hawks over the Preds.
Irish with the odd pick of the tourney. He thinks only 5 goals will be scored during the entire Cup Final. I think he may have misread it and thought it last game in the Final.
Gerbe with the even more odd pick, picking the Leafs to win in 7(at least he gives the Caps that much credit). I know, I know, it's the playoffs, anything can happen.

Noah Hanifin could be traded this offseason
18. One name to watch this off-season: Carolina's Noah Hanifin. He played at least 20 minutes in 10 of the Hurricanes' last 11 games (And came in at 19:58 in the other). I think Carolina would consider moving him if - and only if - an impact offensive forward was coming to Raleigh. So, don't come at them with weak sauce. They are one of the few teams that would even consider this, because they have blue-line depth. But Hanifin has a long, prosperous career ahead of him, and they will not trade him for the sake of it.
Oilers suck... told you... Sharks will take it
Leafs might win 1 game, easy breezy for the Caps
NyR will "upset" Montreal
Boston vs Ottawa is a toss up, I guess I'll pick Boston but I hate them more
Pitt wins bc of experience, but Cbus will give them a run for their $$$
Nashville will make every game close, but I gotta go w the Hawks
Ducks vs Calgary is another tops up for me, but Anaheim has the experience
StL gets the nod for me over Minny, but I see this going 7 - jdfitz77
This is the year Ovi hoists the cup over his head.
Regarding the Sabres, I am despondent. Good word. Despondent. We are caught in between again. Not crappy enough to get a top 3 but not good enough to get into the playoffs. I have been a Sabres fan since 1974. For those of you who complain about the Sabres sucking in the past 5 or 6 years -
. Imagine being a fan of them virtually your entire life.
Not sure why GMTM is willing to die on the Blysma' sword. We went backwards this year - end of story. It's professional sports. Somebody should get fired. If Murray doesn't fire Disco then Murray deserves to be fired IMO. New GM would then fire Disco
