I don't have a lot of faith in Jays managment at the moment. Their goal in the offseason was to get younger and faster and address the bullpen. The bullpen got worse, and they got older and slower. It's going to be similar to this year, regardless of who coaches. I know that there are some here that think they're the cats ass in coaching evaluation, strategies, "player development". But I still stand by my opinion that as long as this team employs AHL talent, doesn't matter who coaches.

I hope Edmonton looses, I hope Toronto loses, all other Canadian teams win their series.

Id have to say gallant has potential for that. He did well in florida and was known to have good systems.

Of course sutter, very smart with in game tweaks....his systems are sound and win cups....and we see 2 cups as proof. I worry about his relationship with the players though

also from LA but not yet fired is john stevens. Technically we could get both sutter AND stevens

Totally agree Hefty. I am excited to see what Green can bring to this team. I don't want any old and stubborn coaches. We need a coach that can grow with the prospects over the next 3-4 years. Jarvis can provide experience and guidance.

Let's see about next season with players and coaching. It's way too early to know where they will be. The easy call is to say the worst. Improving is hard sledding.

As for Oilers there will be a lot of that saying and a lot less doing over these years. The reality of Mcjesus with all the 1OA and a decades of top draft picks is the splash that will keep many wet. Add a competent HC plus coaching staff as well as Maroon, Lucic and Kassian and presto playoff team.
