Stevens is L.A. bound, gallant is LV bound, Hitch is Dallas bound.

So old Mr merry face! Can't wait for the pressers and stifling of any offensive freedoms! Yeah to trap boring , stifled hockey lacking creativity. I disagree that that's what we need right now, in 2 years yes but not right now, don't need another torts type, not with the current roster. We need more creativity to help the offensive flair starved lineup to develop.

Do i guess its anther year at the bottom, right?
Unless you think green can take us there,?

I like him and feel that he'd be good for this bunch but the next year and a half, two years is going to suck donkey dong.

i really dont know much about green so I couldnt tell you. I like the fact he's got JV turned around though.

STevens may become HC in LA, but otherwise he's allowed to move to a HC job elsewhere if Im not mistaken

I'm not sold on the hawks being this dominant team ..they stumbled into the playoffs

Possession, PK, Goaltending and record going into the playoffs you can determine who wins the cup.

TG is probably not even in my top 5. Jon Cooper went into a good team with lots of young players in TB. Jeff Bashill 2 years later ended a 25 year playoff streak.

Van needs a coach with NHL experience either previous HC or Asst coach in the NHL right now.

JV has not turned around unless losing weight means turning around. He is getting the same results in Utica as he did here. Very little.

Utica still have not made the playoffs yet and coming to the NHL he will find many of the same faces on both clubs.

It is okay to bring him in but don't expect a switch to be turned on magically. This coaching gig is a two year stop gap. Green taking this gig will ruin his career much like Eakins did .

I think Ruff is the guy they should bring in. Canucks should not be looking long term right now.

Canucks need a vet coach that won't be told by the players who to send out and what style they should play. They need a guy who won't be afraid to sit someone down if the goalie gets ran and they skate away.

Ruff is at the end of his coaching career and has nothing to prove. We will lose for the next two years . I think Benning should explain to Green you come is as an associate coach for two years and start to develop as the head coach.

How many more jobs would Green be offered if he is 32 -50 for his first two years of coaching. Let a vet guy on his way out take the fall.

I'm sure a lot of vet coaches near retirement are thinking "I should go to Van ruin my career then retire"

Someone said he was at YVR, makes sense with JB's history with him. Green will not be able to provide wins and teach these young guys at the same time as a HC. Veteran coaches typically like to bring their own staff, that's where the problem could be.

Former Springfield Falcons Head Coach Brad Larsen joined the Columbus Blue Jackets as an assistant coach on Head Coach Todd Richards’ staff on June 16, 2014.

Originally hired by the Falcons as an assistant coach prior to the 2010-11 season, Larsen was promoted to head coach on May 21, 2012 and guided the club to a 92-45-15 record and a pair of Northeast Division titles in two seasons behind the bench. In his first year, he guided Springfield to a 45-22-9 record (99 pts.), which represented a 21-point improvement over the previous season. The Falcons posted the first 100-point campaign in franchise history in 2013-14, finishing with the AHL’s third-best record at 47-23-6 (100 pts.).

Larsen enjoyed a 13-year playing career that saw him register 19 goals and 29 assists for 48 points and 134 penalty minutes in 294 NHL games with the Colorado Avalanche and Atlanta Thrashers. He also appeared in 384 career AHL contests before retiring at the end of the 2009-10 season.

Larsen was born on June 28, 1977 in Nakusp, British Columbia. He and his wife, Hannah, are the parents of a son, Ty, and daughter, Faith.

Watched the highlights of the Crunch destroying the Comets. It was worse then watching Canucks highlights.

Also, Canada is playing Latvia on TSN in the U-18 tournament right now.

Greens winning percentage this year is .520 . How will he do at the NHL level?

I know some will say look at his roster but I will answer back look at his new roster.

Gully and Sully were asst then turned into HC and doing well. Makes you wonder maybe Van should get an Asst coach.

It depends which team he's coaching. In our case, line him up across from AV for example.

There are 3 players left. Relax. 2 of them were 2nd and 3rd in scoring on the team. 2 of them the contracts end in one year. Without them, Van would be a 30 point team.

Were you the human who wanted Jakub Vrana out of Washington? Looks like he could have a shot at the roster next season.

Forgive me for pointing out the obvious, but don't we want to lose the next 2-3 years? So don't we want a coach that will play the kids, lose a lot , get fired and then bring in the real coach after that .
