They're idiots, Trevor was only signed for the fans, this owner only wants to make money.

There are a lot. Think of all the small market teams and cities like Ottawa. Aquilini is a douche but at lease let he will spend $. Our fickle, pathetic fanbase complain about losing C prospects like Shink...id like to see us stuck with an idiot like Sakic for awhile. It would be incredibly entertaining listening to the pure panic in the street

The similarities between the Avs/Canucks recently say a lot, especially if the Canucks win 1st overall in this draft like the Avs did with MacKinnon.

1) Both teams have nice young pieces
2) Both teams overpaid overrated vets to "support" them and spent to the cap.
3) Hell, both teams went after Iginla, he just chose Colorado
4) They both hired first time president's who were beloved players
5) Both teams hired 1st time NHL GM's and coaches(Roy, Benning, WD, Bednar)
6) Both management groups thought they would have competitive teams and were fooled by a playoff birth
7) Both use injuries as an excuse
8) Both have run out of excuses

TBH, have not seen Rogue One yet. My wife, 9 year old, and 6 year old went without me. I've been super critical of what has been done to the franchise so they say I'm no fun to go with... (frank)ers.

Oh man, I have so many issues with FR I don't know where to start.

Road Warrior has been copied so many times in movies, TV, and video games because the premise is simple and believable. Clear antagonist and protagonist. Creative setting. Simple goals to survive. And an exciting "vehicle" to carry the story forward.

The goal was to obtain fuel and water to survive. Simple. Yet FR played to the lowest common denominator and changed it to some sob story about wives and a kidnapped slave-daughter's betrayal.

I'll stop there but I'll say one last thing, why do you need CGI when your main stunts are car chases? They become unbelievable and gimmicky when CGI is used too much IMO.

I didn't mind that though...was a nice shift away from just the gasoline quests and storyline IMO.

As for CGI I think it just becomes too costly at one point to do it all in real time with real stuff. Again, for me it didn't take away from the film but I will agree in one aspect that it could have been balanced out a bit better.

As for Rogue One I didn't mind it. Took awhile to get going but understandable considering new character development. Better than Force Awakens to me as it didn't follow the same old formula. The Vader scene in the end was worth the price of admission alone. But like anything there is room for improvement for the next 'non trilogy' SW films.

At least our idiot GM isn't afraid to me make a (frank)ing move. Sakic (frank)ed the team all year long and then extra hard at the deadline. Agreed, there are similarities

In 2015 when the canucks marketed this

I didn't read the fine print at the bottom that said *2017. Those marketing boys are visionaries.

I forgot the best one.....

9) Both teams have accidentally tanked multiple times

I'd argue that a pathetic franchise creates more pathetic/cynical fans so prepare for alot more of them until this franchise actually starts not (frank)ing up consistently.
