I have a PS 4 but only use it for Overwatch and Mortal Kombat. Though grew up w Nintendo so thinking abt getting the new system tomorrow to play Zelda. I am an old so don't know anyone who has got it yet. Have you played/is the system a gimmick or is it cool like the Wii and previous systems (save Gamecube) were?

Im a PS4 guy too, have been sony from Day 1. Ive had every Nintedo system...not the switch yet

The switch is a bit of a mess 1st generation. Check updates to see if lots of issues are fixed. They said they are adjusting issues and cranking up production.

Its a cool system, but I saw some Day 1 reviews of the screen getting scratched easily taking it and out of the housing system, the controllers if you put in backwards by mistake were almost impossible to get out. It was having some glitching and over heating issues.

Nintendo said they know about those issues and are addressing them

I heard about all of those too. I was so disappointed with the Wii U. The concept of the Switch is so ingenious. I think because of its ingenuity is why the public is cutting Nintendo some slack

The big thing I read is the resolution is worse on the tv than on the handheld?

That seems backwards. I have a (cheap, but still) 4k tv that produces frame rates well above 720p. Is this something Nintendo plans to fix, or at least the glitch issues with frame rate?

Still may bite the bullet. I've been a Zelda fanboy since the first time I saw the gold cartridge. I can be forgiving if there are eventual patches to fix. I plan to use the handheld sparingly though.

I really just want to also revisit the Master Blaster polish. Nintendo would shine if they opened up all old 3rd party titles and polished. I get Sunsoft didn't have much of a library. I do want to play Life Force again though. And Battletoads. That was why the Wii U failed.
