Really don't want Lindblom on the 4th line. His puck possession skills and ability to get to the net and finish would compliment G and Jake more than Konecny would. I'd rather see:

Lindblom-G-Jake
TK-Coots-Schenn (Coots & Schenn drove that line down the stretch)
Weal-Filpulla-Simmonds
PEB-Vecchione-Weise

I'm good with that ... very excited about Lindblom !!!

Was thinking more about the organization starting him out slowly adjusting to the game over here.... The ''Hakstol way'' of thinking type thing.

Is it the Hakstol way or Hextall way? They do the same stuff down in the AHL which is frustrating although somewhat understandable.

Both maybe...
Was speaking more in terms of lines combos and lineup decisions ...
so Hakstol I guess:

-Sitting Koneckny for so long, playing him on the 4th line
-Vdv and Bellemare out on the Pk so often
- Starting Neuvy in net in a must win vs Jersey I think when Mason was on fire down the strech and had a day off prior to that game if I'm not mistaken.

Things of that nature

I hear you Hammar. But you know you keep score. By Championships.
Amazing the Penguins 58 point season produced Crosby, the Flyers 54 point season produced a player traded for a third pairing defenseman.

of course i do. i'm just trying to say it's not as one sided between them head-to-head. they got truly lucky with lemieux, and then crosby, malkin, fleury and letang. it sucks the flyers got jvr. but hey, he scored the leafs first goal tonight...so they have that going for them.

look at edmonton. they've sucked for a (frank)ing decade. made the cup and have missed the playoffs for 10 straight (frank)ing years until this year, which is year 2 of mcdavid, another generational gift to the team that sucks at the right time. all those number 1 picks haven't amounted to anything until they got him.

the flyers only opportunity for a guy like that was kane. the hockey gods hate us, what i can tell you.

i've never been ore excited by our goaltending and defensive pipeline. hopefully, like i said, lindblom, rubstov etc will come through. not franchise guys, but i don't know they need one.

Ed Snider and his lack of patience. Flyers have lacked patience in their desire to win. and that is why I am 100% on board with Hextall building through the draft and that is why I get frustrated with the people who female dog about this taking long after a few years under Hextall

i'm with you here. it's super irritating to see other teams suck forever and hit the lottery while the flyers have been competitive, sometimes misguided in trades and fa's, and suffered silly misfortune of running into dynasties and/or having a laundry list of injuries and not winning it all. we're all tired of waiting. BUT, we're on the right track with the picks from the last 4 years. the youth is coming.

now...if Coach FeatherDo would kindly step aside....

04 losing to TB in game 7 of the conference finals....I firmly believe they beat TB and Calgary had the defense been healthy
