no. the actual turtles. i don't discuss posters. should i do such a thing, i'd get banned. i mean...i was banned for unintentionally working around the filter. clearly i don't get the benefit of the doubt here. i've only been here for 10 (frank)ing years. - hammarby31
Care to discuss the posters on my wall, sir? I have a neat one that's a collage of a bunch of tiny pictures of every single flyers goalie to every play 1 minute of any game, and if you look at it from a few feet away you can see an old school goalie mask |

Anaheim is such a poop hockey town, a playoff game and there's quite a few empty seats? |

tom wilson.
what a horrible (frank)ing goal by andersen, after making 2 10-bell saves a minute before. - hammarby31
Even the sun shines on a dog's ass once in a while.
Cripes, even Dan Carcillo scored a GWG in the playoffs against Martin (frank)ing Brodeur. |

Please don't. I like your opinions on goaltender performance and this forum would be lesser without them.
Also, if you're still here, I can make references about the '80's teams and I know you're old enough to get them.

speaking of goalies...can you imagine if that mason had given up that wilson goal in OT. milbury would have crucified him, but he pretty much glossed over it with andersen being the culprit.
i think the parade has been cancelled.
both goalies were very good in the ana/cal game. flames blew a 5 on 3 at the end...looked like the flyers.

That Toronto team is not quite there yet....but a year our two down the road, they are going to be a scary good team. Hopefully the Flyer prospects can make that sort of impact. I still can't believe Anderson missed that one, but considering I have 6 caps on my playoff pool team, I'm glad he did. |

Anderson is not quite that solid #1 guy. He Seems to run hot or cold and never really gets in a long hot streak. He should have that one last night. I hate the Leafs so it didn't bother me, but as you said they will be a team to contend with over the next long while. They will definitely add D help this year. I hope our GM will also add some help up front. I would not be surprised if a core move is made. One playoff round victory in 6 years... Time for a change

Your preaching to choir about the core move being needed. Couldn't agree more. I was actually fairly happy after Hextall's presser Yesterday. I think they will make changes not just to get some of the prospects as replacements, but to help pump up the flat tire that is there 5 on 5. To do that you change the core. I do enjoy the atmosphere around Toronto when their in the playoffs. |
