So far in these playoffs what connections do we have with ex-Canucks?

The only ex-Canuck JB dumped to make an impact in any game is Kassian. The zero return plus lost a draft pick on player. Oh well. Bur has done some of the little things right but yet really has been very quiet. Hansen has been somewhat noticeable being around a few plays and so forth but far from impactful. Those are two great deals for JB. So he's 2-1 on Canuck dumps.

As for ex-Canuck coaches. Hmm they aren't doing so good. AV is okay. Got his split. Was 17 seconds away from 2-0. But we all knew AV was good. Letting him go was when the rebuild should have started. He took that group as far as it could go. A new coach wasn't topping that. Hindsight is sweet. But logic has a role. Firing a successful coach doesn't bring you a successful team. It means that group needs to change too.

You see what's going on now with the attitudes on the draft. Last season Nucks tanked for the 3rd spot. Kind of equal to the second spot now. Only saying that cause there was no Vegas team then. That factored in water down the odds and add another weighted team so close.

Anyway. Nucks lost in the lotto again. A draft with highly touted draft picks at the top. OJ is taken at 5th is maligned by even the very tankers who wanted that top pick result. Now it's like a we'll see. He might be top 4 but isn't a top pairing D. This draft that has no one close to hype they are like well it's better we drop. They begged for a tank. Now it's like well we need to do it next year. Boggles the mind.

Though, I do think that like that draft Nucks took Nedved that the more hyped guy's this draft aren't special enough. That the Mittlestad's and Glass players will be the Yager smarter picks. So if Nucks luck out on draft lottery. They can flip a bit pick up the smarter not so touted pick and add an asset. Take that or add another asset and make another deal later for that high end D too. It's more open to possibility.

Then let's hope JB is as excited to wheel and deal. This team needs it no matter the hype on the quality of players.

no, but that kassian shoulder hit to the head on Dillon was late, if hes a canuck 5 and a game with a hearing, playoff hockey though so its okay personally I like it but the league keeps changing and making up rules on the fly, that's what makes this league bogus.
