I wasn't very familiar with Hansen before the trade, and was a little let down by giving up Goldobin for him; but I've been really impressed with his game. He's a great fit on the team.

I was big on Goldobin at first, but it was becoming very obvious that he wasn't going to be a fit on the Sharks. Glad he got to go somewhere with rebuild on the mind where he make a bigger impact. Hansen is a huge boost for us.

I think they made that deal because they had a few other forward prospects pass him on the depth chart. A couple guys who were late round picks kinda came out of no where to fill in this season. This could be the last year they have a legit chance at the cup. If im the sharks im making that deal, plus they have him for next season too.

Hansen isn't good enough to justify that trade. He guys that passed Goblin on the depth chart aren't better they are just more ready. I get the Shattenkirk trade but not the Burrows or Hansen trades. Stupidity on both.
