Unless they come across some outstanding talent in the draft I'd pretty much agree with you, five years is a reasonable number. - LeftCoaster
As long as we don't have to watch the damn Swedes |

He said before the game that he is exhausted. This is his 83rd game of the season |

Imagine being a AAA player playing with a bunch of A or B players. |

And I'm fine with that. It's not a race to make the playoffs. I'd prefer that management is methodical, builds up the farm system and lets the prospects develop in a competitive environment in Utica before throwing them into the gong show that is the Canucks. |

Sorry Nico I think Glass is todays MVP |

I really like his game.
This draft is going to be really all over the place. The only thing I am going to predict is that at least 4 dmen will go in the top 12 and 2 in the top 6.
Wouldnt be at all surprised to see a Dman go 1 or 2. |

Yep, me too! This is not an instant gratification business, those that attempt that usually fail, as you can see by Benning's attempts to "be competitive".
Building a winner is something the Vancouver market has never had the stomach for, thus they've never won a Cup. They closest they came was drafting the twins, Kesler, Edler, Bieksa, Hansen and the boys. |

I think with this being a weak draft several teams will pick by position. Theres just to many rumors of coyotes and avs wanting a dman(Liljegrin) with there pick. Read a scout say he has Makar at 2.
Detroit, NJ, Dallas, Peg and Buffalo all starving for Dmen.

No team will touch Lilegren with a high pick. Makar may slip into the top 5. |
