Because he didn't get the best player in 2014...one mistake out of three drafts means he's not a savant.
I think his trades are his strength. Strong drafter but not a savant. I don't think any GMs can be considered extraordinary at the draft. All GM's make poor picks given the benefit of hockey buzz hindsight

bad call after review. Wasn't in the crease, minimal contact that did not impede Anderson making the save. Distracting the goalie for being too close isn't grounds for interference in my books
