Jealous Sabres fans Part II
No, not in a crappy mood. I always thought they`d be fortunate to win one game. Now at 2-2. This is just a step in the process which hopefully will lead to a more solid run in 2-3 years. I am a realist. This is not their year
Listen, I feel bad for Sabres fans. Their rebuild reminds me of Burke's hack job starting in 2008, The rebuild was botched by Murray. He has no big league goalie. One D and a bunch of 5/6's on D. Not much depth on F. Wanting a new coach to play a more aggressive system with that bunch is laughable.

Any team not in the playoffs is going to be jealous...the saltiness will be here for the summer, so get used to it.

Maybe you should take the time to look up the difference between jealous and Envy before you comment on how another team's rebuild is going. It's going to be a lot of fun watching your entire team be in a Sophomore slump next season.

Nice post. In hindsight, you are correct, it is envy. You should watch it. Envy is one of the seven deadly sins, and that's no way to live your life.
For the record, I am a big Buffalo guy. A big Bills fan. I love Western NY. But I can't understand why the Sabres fans anger is so misguided. The problem with both the Bills and the Sabres is the same. Both teams have a moron at GM. Neither Whaley or Murray have done a good job assembling talent, despite spending to the cap. Both have spotty drafting records. Both have recklessly traded away #1 picks. Both couldn't get another GM job outside of Buffalo. Buffalo fans deserve better. I am not sure why Bylsma is taking the brunt of the criticism for their failures. Murray does not have enough talent. Outside of Buffalo, nobody picked them making the playoffs anyway.

I won't speak for the Bills because I gave up on them years ago. But, as for the Sabres, yeah, sure, they have some issues, but they are correctable ones. Nobody here is misguided in their anger, everyone posts all day long about what the team's issues are. But, if you are referring to why they might hate on Toronto, it's not because of Toronto's success, it's not envy, it's because Toronto trolls are constantly in here being rude and insulting whilst sitting on their high-horse about a team that squeaked into the playoffs by 1 point.
As for Murray's draft record, he's only had 3 drafts, so you really can't say yet what his draft record is. Are all the Leafs draft picks over the past 3 seasons in the NHL and producing?

It's funny that people outside of Buffalo can easily see this

For all the talent that the Bills seem to not be assembling, New England sure doesn't seem to have an issue poaching it from them.
Agreed. But I really have a hard time thinking this team is routinely get out shot 18-2 in a period bad.
The GM literally said the coach did a terrible job getting to know his players. - ImThatGuy
No I get it, just drives me nuts when all the fire bylsma people think he's the sole reason. Unfortunately, if he gets fired we'll have to find someone else to blame because hes not the reason were not in the playoffs.
IMO this season should be humbling for GMTM, Disco Dan and the players equally.. All 3 failed and all 3 needs to figure it out

He won a cup dude. Jeez.
I get that he wasn't perfect, but calling him terrible is just flat out incorrect
In 2011-12, Crosby played just 22 games, Malkin missed 7 games of his own

Finished 1st or 2nd in Atlantic every...single....season.. he was coach - sbroads24
He. Did. Not. Coach. This. Team. To. More. Than. 78 points. This. Year.
We had a mostly complete roster in January and were a couple points out of the race before the bye week, and his team went 3-7 after the bye (or something close to that). Maybe the players revolted, maybe they all partied too much in Cabo or wherever, but bottom line is the Coach (not the front office) did not get his team to rise up and grab it when it counted.

The GM put together an 80 point team.
Almost ALL national analysts had us pegged as the worst or 2nd worst team in the conference. BEOFRE Eichel went down.
Reason - Our defense was god awful
If they fire him, great. Have at it. Who is he being replaced with? That's a question that hasn't really been asked or answered yet.
