Falk falls under the most likely back because if Vegas takes him it would make sense on there part. I hope to hell they don't but it's a possiblity. I think Girgensons and Moulson are as good as gone and Franson sealed his fate when he said he'd welcome a return to Toronto

He's still 6th(minus the 2 guys who played 300 games in the early 1900's) in goals per game. He has one of the best releases ever. And that one-timer was lethal. One of only 3 guys to score 85+ goals in a year, he was also the latest one to do it(meaning better goalies).

And we see every year in the playoffs that Shattenkirk really isn't all that good defensively

I think Girgensons is gone. It's clear Murray doesn't like him and that he needs a change of scenery. Also if Disco some how lives into the 80's its even less likely Girgensons comes back. As far as Moulson I get a very strong feeling Moulson is gone no matter what. I think it will be buy out but I wouldn't be shocked if it's taking a page out of Toront's book and putting him in Rochester either

and the Caps can't protect him

I think he could be a 15-20g scorer if he gets the icetime

I can't find a link, but I read it a few places that they were told to pump the brakes on the release. I'm not sure if he's still there or not. And since the team isn't saying anything, short of camping out on his lawn we're not going to find out.

Murray hasn't mentioned Girgensons once when talking about the future of this team since going back to last year when he first started to suck also I believe he has been critical of his play going into this season and Girgensons didn't exactly detract those fears with his play this year. He won't have great trade value but at this point who cares? I'll take a change of scenery defenceman for him for instance or package him with Larsson or Foligno for a solid 4-5 guy.

As far as Moulson goes the hit won't be nearly as bad as it would've been this year. He's far, far too slow to be on a winning team now and just being on the roster means he could be back on Jacks LW and that scares me. If they don't buy him out it's not shocking at all if they bury him. Good teams do this ALL THE TIME. He's not going to get claimed once you release him and if he somehow did then we should get down and thank our lucky stars. But if he goes to Rochester it saves us like 1-2 mill on cap and he can be a leader for younger players in the AHL. win win.

Ginota has to go - just has to - I like him, nice story, but hes washed up and not going to score when it counts - sure when we are down 4-1 in the 3rd and he scores - Aaron SChobel same type of player - garbage time moments.
