This game tonight feels like the series to me, although most Game 5s tied at 2-2 do.

The poor guy never had a decent QB to work with, I'll say that.

That 2010 Jets team was close, if not for totally not showing up in the First half (inexcusable) of the AFC championship gm in Pittsburgh, they were almost in the Super Bowl that yr & Sanchez somehow w a amazing defense won 4 playoff road games in 2 years. But they totally fell apart starting that next yr.

I think Rex is actually a pretty good coach. But nothing will kill a coach quicker than not having good play at the QB position. A good defense can mask some of that, but over the long term you are screwed without good QB play.

He got every bit of publicity he could squeeze out of that HBO Hard knocks show that one summer, Rex was the unquestionable star of that years show. And Cromartie and his 14 kids.

NFL Head Coaches now seem to just be 1 sided specialists, its strange. If the guy is a defensive guy, that's all he seems to know & his offensive cooridinator runs the other side & vice versa. It used to be there were an O guy & you had a D guy & the Head Coach was the go between both. I guess Ditka & Buddy Ryan & the 85 Bears started that trend.
