Just wanted to say this, next year when Jesper Fast has 7 goals and 10 assists late in the year, and some are wondering whether the Rangers have better forth line options, and would prefer playing a guy who may score 12 goals in that spot, just remember these playoffs so far. And remember past ones. Jesper Fast is the perfect playoff fourth liner, period.

Fast has been awesome, truly

I feel like I'm the only one that kills him which surprises me

This image of Staal and Holden both doing snow angels leaving Andrew Shaw wide open for the shot on net is the one I remember from yesterday.

Klein was given a chance but he was worse haha. I can't hate anyone after last night (except Tom Burton .That win felt amazing

But, let me say this, most fans feel that way about their third defensive pair. It's very rare to have a third pair that people are totally comfortable with.

Very true. For me it's AV trusting them more then I do haha. Late in games they should not be out there

We're 1 game away from advancing, have to do it tomorrow night. NO way do I want to see that building again.

They have to stop screwing around in Game 7s. They were great in them, but eventually it came back to bite them against the Bolts. It's a Saturday night. The crowd should be sauced up and loud. Just get it done early, for once.

Where is that guy that hated Fast? Wonder what his opinion of Fast's performance was last night?

Both him and Oscar are work horses that every team needs.

btw - read somewhere that when Oscar was on the ice 5v5, Rangers had 14 shot attempts for and 0 against. I know it's Corsi bs, but still...

I would be shocked if Oscar isn't the guy that gets selected in the expansion draft next year, unless the Rangers make some deal to keep him. I just think he makes the most sense for an expansion team.

I don't believe Corsi is BS, but it's the guys out there that think it's more important than scoring a goal, you know, I believe they cray cray

like Tanner "he scored only 5 goals in 80 games, but more importantly, he drove possession all season"

You guys remember a Rangers series that has been this nasty? I am sure there has been one, but just can't remember it.

In recent history.

Great work ethic. Most Swedes learn that from early age. One of the few Swedes in the league that doesn't have that is Zibanejad tbh...

Gotta say, I thought Zibby was a total daisy early in this series, but he's picked it up significantly. It's almost like it took him sometime to get used to the intensity.

I can't remember one at all, I thought first round vs Flyers in 2014 was nasty, but this is worse for sure

I think part of it is, you do what you can get away with, and this series has been full out prison rules from a refs perspective.

Agreed.

...he has the reputation of not turning up to camp in good shape. Some say he never work out more than he 'has to'.

Zucc's gotta keep his stick down, very lucky he didn't get another double minor last night

Zib was actually great in camp and the first part of the season until he broke his leg though

Yeah, no doubt.

Also, hope Miller can get going. I am sure he wants to start working on those playoff stats, which frankly, I had no idea were that bad. Not that stats are everything in the playoffs, but he needs to produce.

I think last night was really great for him. With Brassard, after a very average regular season, doing his normal thing in the playoffs, he would have started to here a lot of chatter about that. I think that goal totally takes that sort of pressure of him.
