Very funny!
At least he got a D-. - Pete V
Pretty sure the whole thing about actually submitting that to a teacher is fake but it still cracks me up anyway.

Back to the draft:
One guy that's gonna sliiiiiiiiiiide is the top-ranked Euro skater, Klim Kostin. He's Russian and refused to report to his WHL team so I think he's going to end up falling out of the first round. He's the kinda guy that would be an absolute steal if he fell to the 2nd or 3rd round and ended up coming over to NA after all. |

Huge risk though. Like no way in hell crosses the pond if selected by Arizona. |

I'll laugh at yours if you laugh at mine. From yesterday:
Pierre: Hey Doc and Eddie, Brendan Smith is from Shatatoga Wisconsin HS, the Fighting Shatters, coached by Reif Leuders. Reif played his college hockey at Maine back when the legendary coach Butch Huldoffer was there. I saw Butch the other day having lunch with the great Mark Knollers and Butch told me that Reif told him that next to Thomas Dudzinzski, Brendan Smith is the greatest Shatter ever to play for Shatatoga.
Doc: Thanks Pierre, skittered along by Oduya.......... - WineryDog

Yeah I would agree with that.
But if he slides into the 3rd round or something? I'd take him. Might pay off, might not...but at the end of the day the chances of any 3rd round pick paying off are pretty slim so I'd be willing to take the risk. |

Don't know. Some Dutch, just from the lineage of the last name. |
