What good is money if the players around the league won't come here, now with what has just happened again today and all the crap that was posted about Eichel yesterday, you think players are going to jump to come here ? it's going to take more time to show players around the league that the Sabres are back on track again.

I cant' give Pegula too much grief. If he wasn't the owner than who? We had a cheap businessman. A corrupt family. Some corporation may buy them and run the team based purely on money and not hockey. At least, Pegula is a fan and loves the team and game. I just hope that now that he has a few years under his belt as the owner, he's wised up, made some connections and will have learned from his mistakes.

Winning in the NFL is a joke. You luck your way into one of the 15-20 good quarterbacks on the planet, or you suck. It has nothing to do with knowledge. It's luck. You either have a guy for 10 years, or you suck.

he may need to...way too much happening within the next couple of months--expansion draft, nhl draft, free agency plus an Eichel extension and 20 free agents to make decisions on plus the cal Petersen situation and free agents from college and overseas

The Bills can win with Tyrod but leave it to them to stir the pot more and draft a QB this year. Unless it's Trubinsky I'm not interested in a QB.

I agree and disagree with that NFL comment. While it's true if you don't have a QB you aren't going anywhere in the NFL. Theres also the issue of using 1st round picks on guys like Losman and Manual when no one else had them as 1st round QBs.
