my bad...just got done listening to schopp and bulldog...schopp had lots of good things to say but went on and on about not ever hiring a former player - Michael Pachla
Ran into Bulldog at a liquor store on Canadian side. That guy is a cool dude to talk to. Really nice guy. |

Elliott Friedman on the pre game show said that Quinn is in play. - Matthews_Auston
He might have a plum gig at BU, but it doesn't compare to the NHL, even the Stars would be a better job. I was going to say the Yotes, but they have some promising guys coming up...
It's not like college football guys who, at the big schools, basically have unlimited money to spend. "You want imported Italian marble for your showers and a climate controlled shoe room? Done. How about 46" TVs over every single locker? Sure, we'll throw that in." Show me a college hockey coach with that kind of pull. And sadly I'm not joking about any of those things I listed. |

would rather have Denver's Montgomery...step by step to the championship and had his players playing fast and aggressive - Michael Pachla
now that is an interesting name to toss out there. He is highly regarded |

And is being criticized for being too attached to his own players, got his team into trouble bc he refused to move on from guys he felt loyal too and handle to situations very very poorly in Richards and Voynov.
Nevermind 4 years of drafting that hasn't produced 1 NHL regular and handing out terrible contracts - DDM-Coga
2 Cups
How can you guys not give credit - where credit is do! Eventually you need to retool the shed, but I'll take a Cup in Buffalo. |

I honestly don't know how Pegula and co. will be able to get things going in time for the off season... I believe the draft initial meetings are in what? End of May? We now need to hire a new GM, new Coach, New head of amateur scouting, new pro scout. Qho knows if we are keeping our European scouts and college scouts who were good friends with Murray and also had relationships with Asplund, Petersen and Oloffson. Not to mention Antpin. It scares me that we won't be ready in time for the draft and especially the expansion draft as well as our new GM and if we hire a president their realtionships with other GM's in order for us to trade for a defenceman. I feel like Murray all ready had good leads in Anahiem and Minnesota for defenceman and we know he had a deal with Vegas. How is this years long work going to be made up in just a month and a half?

I agree about comparison with college football coaches. But Dallas position has been filled. |

2 Cups - Irish 14
its been 4 years since then. He screwed over that team since then and now the Kings are in a bad bad place going forward.
It took him 7 years with the Kings before he won the cup as the 8th seed. Lets not pretend like he was some GM who had some great game plan and built a winner with savvy moves. He mucked around with that team for a long time until he found lightning in a bottle |

None of these are good reasons to keep a flawed GM employed after a season of epic fail when there are dozens of prime candidates who could replace him.

cap floor, hopefully
Austin is the new Falk I Like Ullmark but we have depth at the position and can get a backup on the street corner if need be
New coach might be able to make Enzo and/or Moulson look like NHL players...Badgo, Gorges not so much - LandlordTom
Our "depth" goes out the door IF, we get rid of Lehner like everybody wants, Petersen decides not to come here and Vegas takes Ullmark. |

Not sure if it's 💯% correct - Irish 14
They really like Bills Jets on Thursday night don't they? That whole abomination needs to go. Players hate it, fans hate it, not to mention the NFL feels the need to have every team play a night game during the season, I so do not give a single flying (frank) about Titans Jags, but it makes money so we all know what will win in the end. |

Richards and carter were essential moves to their cup win...he got the job done...
the goal is to win the cup, by an means necessary...worry about the rest later |

Not saying it is. But if Pegula did in fact make final decision on Murray and his scouting staff today we're way behind the eight ball. |

I agree but I don't love Lombardi on his recent experiences. His teams were high to the cap and a bit dated in terms of where hockey is at nowadays. |
