My issue is that you're cherry picking

"Close" doesn't mean tied and only 5v5

What were the shots when the lead was 2 goals or less?
Good teams don't sit back with 1 goal leads
And usually not with 2 goal leads either, not in the playoffs

You're throwing out too many stats that u say don't count
And shots on goal when the score is 1-0 in the 2nd period should still matter when it comes to this doscussion

They won 4 in a row. Scored first in 3 of them. When they were at 0-0 or 2-2 when they tied game 3, they were the better team all around in terms of shots and scoring chances. They protected leads well, and didn't give up many scoring chances once they had the lead

I gotta go. Think I saw one in Delaware. None near me. There are Chik-Fil-A's though and their spicy chicken sandwich with barbecue sauce is as good as it gets. They put pickles on their chicken sandwiches. Amazing.

Go to a local place, where the quality is better & there's substance to it

If a Burger is too fatty or thin to be cooked to a certain temp,
then don't bother unless u just want something quick smothered in condiments

You said the advanced stats were wrong because Chicago out shot them.

I'm showing you why they did. It's plain as day to see. When the game was close Nashville had more shots and scoring chances. They take lead, they then play cautiously. I'm not sure what else to say

Fitz, you're dismissing the evidence that once Nashville got the lead, they sat back and let Chicago take more shots, which made the shot totals semi even.

For example- Chicago trailed by 3 goals for 21 minutes, had a plus 4 in shot attempts
Trailed by 2 for 8 minutes and were minus 4 in shot attempts
Trailed by 1 for 61 minutes, were a plus 14 in shot attempts

However, at even in just 51 minutes, and were a **minus 29 in shot attempts***
