I think the problem with his public speaking isn't that he is bumbling. The bumbling is a reflection of not having a plan and then hiding when things went bad.

I believe it was a statement on 'lack of character'. Too much mediocrity and professionalism. Need more guys that HATE LOSING.

Yeah it was brutal. But honestly, short of having a VP or Pres in place today, what did you expect from Terry? He is not a hockey guy, he doesn't have a set plan right now. But I'd rather that then have him come out the day after firing coach and GM and tell us his shiny new idea. Don't rush this. Do it right.

Rivet for GM. I almost always agree with him when it comes to trades, signing players and the entire time leading up to the deadline.

I don't think the character references are references to stuff that was publicized. I think what is obvious that there were gigantic problems in the room.

We're all pretty emotional after these firings. The next few weeks are going to be exciting too, so long as this is done the right way this time.

Unless the plan involves someone still in the playoffs.

Pegs says he regrets that he was NOT involved in hiring Murray or Bylsma.

That means LaFontaine hired Murray, and after he bolted, Murray hired Dan.

If Dan is a Murray guy, not a Pegs guy, and the coordination was as bad as it was, then Murray needed to go.

Pegs also says he doesn't regret operating witout LaFontaine after he left. Im going to remain optimistic and say that means he is losing the FanBoy quality, and will look to the Hockey Ops guy with experience, but not an alumni.

At least they'll be rumors everyday that should be fun lol

Sure, that's what he said. He said it years ago with the Bills too. Saying it and having a plan to do it are two very different things. If he had a plan all of the organizational fiascos with both teams wouldn't have happened.
