"Buffalo Bills offensive tackle Cyrus Kouandjio was involved in a bizarre incident with police not far from the scene of an accident Tuesday on Route 400 in Elma, The Buffalo News learned.

Kouandjio was not arrested, but taken to Erie County Medical Center for observation.

According to a police source, Kouandjio was found, not fully clothed, in a field after climbing over an electric fence. When an Erie County Sheriff's deputy went to detain him, the source said, the 6-foot-7, 322-pound Kouandjio yelled, "Shoot me"

1) It's not so much a league stance but the union agreed to it.

2) I just don't think the league knows how to back out of this awful stance without making like they are encouraging drug use and having a PR nightmare. Because there will be a big backlash.

They wanted Drury he didn't want to be here, Briere did but they didn't want him. JP Dumont is another unhappy EX Sabre. I hope they choose someone with experience in GM and Coach. Enough is enough with this playing around crap.

They could do something as simple as saying "our drug tests will no longer screen for marijuana. While we don't condone illegal drug use in any form, we realize the cultural attitude regarding marijuana is shifting"

It's just dumb as a society that dangerous pharmaceuticals are advertised on TV, but marijuana is illegal. The NFL is just part of the backwards thinking of society as a whole

Edit: i don't even really smoke pot. I just realize U.S. drug policies cause more problems than they solve
