with Tree gone, that means Vantel's homeboy Carl Neil will probably get a contract. |

With Tree being chopped, i think we can park any trade plans for our D.
I think we need to hold onto everyone and look to add if anything.
Looking forward to Neil, OJ and Subban this year! |

Tank for Dahlin...2018.
I'd be pretty happy to build around OJ and Dahlin. - moondawg

This whole Tryamkin thing is ridiculous. This is what pisses me off about Russian players.
He told russian reporters he was getting 12 minutes of ice time? okay then....
Sounds to me like he didnt like to work hard and wants the easy way out.
They tried to send him down, he said no, they held him out for a month and he was pissed. Finally he gets his stamina, strength and conditioning up to snub, looks like he could be a tremendous top 4 dman for this club going forward and decides to hit the happy trail.
O well, I dont want whiney little pukes on this team anyways.
Bo started out on the 4th line. Didnt complain once, worked his ass off and will be wearing the C for this team sometime in the near future.
Thats how you earn respect.
Puts this team even further behind the 8 ball going forward though. Starting to wonder if the Nucks should be looking at a Dman with there first pick right now.
OJ hopefully is ready to make the jump because he may get rushed into a position he wasnt expecting.
uggh.... |

Edler-Stecher
Gudbranson-Hutton
Pedan-Tanev
McEneny (Biega as 8th defenseman/14th forward)
Allows for 2 rookies to break in, 1 2nd year and 1 3rd year player with a couple potential guys on the way. Works for me, but would love to see Edler gone.
Assuming Sbisa claimed in expansion.
Friedman on pre-game wonders if Olympics is factor in Nikki's decision. |

Did anyone watch that interview with Benning and come away with a concern over Horvats contract? Benning said that this may go into the summer.....why? Why can't it get done right away?

I liked his reach with the stick.
Agree that he didn't use his size to punish people, but i was hoping that that would come as he became more comfortable and confident.
I never liked the comparisons to Chara/Pronger either.
The loss stings a bit, because he was seen as a bright spot in an otherwise dark couple of years. Agreed it was a longshot to begin with, but he was a good story that has had taken a disappointing turn. - dbot

All the prelims could have been done during the season, no reason it should take months to get resolved.

well. many players prefer not to negotiate during the season. Don't think there is much urgency. It will get done. |
