I have thought this was a no-brainer for most of the season.
Since Tree was axed (full disclosure i am going to use logging metaphors for as long as i can going forward) i seriously expect JB to do what he can to keep Sbisa and do a deal to convince Vegas to take someone else.

I wouldn't want us to jettison players in an effort to tank at the start of the season (but i am ok with doing this at the TDL when it makes sense to move vets and playoffs are out of reach).

But after Tree buzzed off , i see other's are facilitating the 'tank' for us fans.

In short, i'm a realist.
i expect the team to play hard.
i just want to see effort.
i expect us to suck and hope we get good prospects.

i'm not sure what camp i fit in.

why? ... believe he is readily replaceable for a lot cheaper ... he was ok beginning of the season but looked like his old self near the end .... i guess he went from absolutely awful in '15/'16 to just terrible in '16/'17 .... progress

Welcome to team tank, were doing a christmas photo shoot, so be sure to get a sweater!
We all want to see effort, but wanting the prospects and realizing that the way to us being a great team again requires a similar bottoming out as before (see Daniel and Henrik Sedin) before we get better. Bo, JV, Juolevi, and this pick are that bottoming out. Hopefully we get a elite talent this year or next year, then we put pieces around them. With JV, Dahlen, Goldy, Bo, Stech, OJ, Boeser—we are headed in the right direction. Anyone who has given up on or doesn't see these has solid building blocks just is not paying attention. We need more though!

Yeah we don't need to tank, this team is not good enough to compete with anyone outside of Las Vegas.

All the prelims could have been done during the season, no reason it should take months to get resolved.

I have a feeling there will be a little more distance between what the franchise projects him as (when this team's built) vs what Bo & his agent think he's worth based on his role & production on an anemic bottom-feeding roster during these talks... If he wants to be paid for being our leading scorer, it could cause an ugly negotiation, because he won't be filling that role when we become competitive.

...as I mentioned earlier, the organization has known that he might bolt to the KHL for a long time. They did everything they could to try and get him to stay. Hated in the locker room, treated with kid gloves by Linden and Benning.
