It's obvious that he hated it here. Don't see that ever changing. Bad taste and all.

Should have traded him then

Yeah but my hope is that the team will look and be completely different by the time he is ready to come back. He needs to mature a bit, but I really never thought Radulov would come back and he returned to Nashville, same coach and all.

If Russia is tough love with him too, then he might have a revelation. Lots of possibilities but I am not writing him off just yet. We retain his rights for a while, and thats plenty of time to have a change of heart

Didn't Dragon like Lidster and Jarvis?
Lidster ran the D, and would give Tryamkin 20 minutes one night, and 12 minutes next. One of the main reasons Tryamkin whined about to the Russian media

No he hated Lidster. Guess he had a point there. Him and WD were bad for a rebuild is evident from these events.

Sounds like the family thing played a big role. I dont think any NHL team would have convinced him to stay at this point. They can still trade him if he really doesnt want to come back to VAN but wants back in the NHL

How can anyone not see that Linden and Benning need to be fired?

All reports online are him saying he was mad about ice time, didn't see eye to eye with lidster, and wanted to be closer to home. Went on to say specifically that he hasn't seen or spoken to him grandparents for over a year (since his wedding). I have not seen one article, both translated from Russian or Canucks media, that has on record Tryamkin saying anything regarding contract status/term/money.

OJ was probably going to make the Canucks even if Tryamkin did stay.

This is a bad team. Stecher comes out of college and gets voted by the fans as the teams best Dman.

This is the sorry bunch that we have that a kid comes out of nowhere and is the best.

Keep EDLER and TANEV we wouldn't want to drop from 29 th or 28 th

Exactly, if decides he wants to play in the best league in The world we can trade him if he hates vancouver...he didn't like the coaching staff but clearly that's not why he left

Knowing our luck we still lose the draft.

Maybe Aquillini doesnt want the Canucks to be the first NHL team to ever finish 31st?

Yes agree it's not a "right" off (pun there). But they need to offer him a serous contract to come back. It does sort of jeopardize the rebuild in timing. As in they will be less inclined to move vets out for youth to take over this season. Stecher and Hutton are peaked on playing time. They just need to improve. Only leaves Guddy to show his worth. That only leaves OJ to earn it. No one else is close enough. Right?

They both have to be moved by the draft. Replace with vet UFAs on one year deals even if the money is more than would be liked.

This team just got a lot worse today. Time to go all in on the rebuild and not jjust state it but start by making moves that suggest this. Im getting pretty sick on TL and JB spinning things.

The quicker we add a couple more legit D and forward prospects the quicker we turn this thing around. Its only happening through the draft and hopefully we can add some nice depth guys via college and JR free agency.

Probably will put a banner up in Rogers Arena, right next to Olympic Game Host Venue and a President's Trophy win
