I read last year that a player on a million dollar contract ends up taking home about 500k . So if he was offered 1.8 he would take about 825k.

Back home it is tax free . Familiar surrounding . Cost of living a lot cheaper. And most of all he gets away from a Mickey Mouse organization and has an actual chance to play hockey , be liked , and have a chance to win.

Neither nico or nolan will be NHL ready next season. They might be ok on a decent team(see flames with tkachuk).. This crap squad should let them chill in the CHL for another season. Use the spot for a UFA or cap dump to acquire addiontal picks.

It's tough to be sure.

Bo should hit 60-65 pts if healthy all year.

I want to see what Marky can do with Miller gone.

Eriksson will be better.

Boeser will be exciting…there are some positives.

But really the standard stuff will probably continue. Edler will struggle to 20 points with the drop pass.

Tanev will be lucky to play 30 games.

Our bottom 6 will be AHL quality all year…same ol same ol...
