It's going to be a long summer.
Lets kill some time by discussing a Sedin extension. |

So what do you think we get for them at the TRADE DEADLINE? - mauryballstein
Nothing. They refuse to waive their MNC to disrupt there families for 3 or 4 months to make a couple of mentally challenged Canuck fans happy. |

It's tough to be sure.
Bo should hit 60-65 pts if healthy all year.
I want to see what Marky can do with Miller gone.
Eriksson will be better.
Boeser will be exciting…there are some positives.
But really the standard stuff will probably continue. Edler will struggle to 20 points with the drop pass.
Tanev will be lucky to play 30 games.
Our bottom 6 will be AHL quality all year…same ol same ol... - LordHumungous
Looking forward to see what he can do.
If edler is back next season ill be mad. Deal Tanev now to.

I don't think they will extend unless Edler gets extended as well. Gotta keep the core together. |

Edler and Tanev need to go for sure.
And people around here might wanna wrap their heads around the fact that Boeser ain't going to the AHL. He might have a small 6-12 game stint there like Bo did but that's it. I think he's up in the NHL for good. |

To me its a big "might" im all for leaving the kids in developmental leagues as long as possible but once they show they can play then put them on the team. From what I saw he is an NHL player already.. Wouldnt be surprised if he lead the team in goals next season although not much competition |

Even though it is wrong Aquillini will be pushing to have youth in the lineup. He knows attendance will be down a lot next year. |

I think the same thing. He didnt learn from rushing players see JM and JV..
Boser is at least already good enough but rushing this years pick will be a huge mistake. |

@JonathanDahlen
Very excited to have signed my first NHL contract with the @Canucks Dream come true, thanks to my family and everybody supporting me! - VANTEL
That brings total to 47/50 contracts by Cap friendly. Of these contracts 31 are Comet considered players less OJ. A lot of ELC's here. So there is your depth on call ups. There are now 18 signed on ELC and 3 have one year left. The 12 RFA's are intriguing. Either they are let go or if extended it is not known if they make the Nucks or can clear waivers for Comets. If JB signs some more juniors, Nuck drafted or free agent, he could have 21 ELC players in the system plus Stecher. That's quite the difference from last few years.
Griffin Molino ELC
Boeser, Brock ELC
MacEwen, Zack ELC
Juolevi, Olli ELC (not Comet eligible)
Demko, Thatcher ELC
Virtanen, Jake ELC
Goldobin, Nikolay ELC
Laplante, Yan-Pavel ELC
Subban, Jordan ELC
Brisebois, Guillaume ELC
Carcone, Michael ELC
Sautner, Ashton ELC
Stewart, MacKenze ELC
Cederholm, Anton ELC
Cassels, Cole ELC
Chatfield, Jalen ELC
Dahlen, Jonathan ELC
Signed Depth AHL/NHL vet side must clear waivers
Bachman, Richard
Megna, Jason
Biega, Alex
Possible if waiver cleared and signed from RFA status:
Zalewski, Michael
McEneny, Evan
Nilsson, Tom
Pedan, Andrey
Labate, Joseph
Garteig, Michael
Shore, Drew
Higher NHL profile but possible Comets if they don't make Nucks and clear:
Chaput, M RFA
Cramarossa RFA
Guance RFA
Boucher RFA
Rodin listed as RFA but could be UFA (not clear)
Skille who is UFA |

and last years. - VanHockeyGuy
Good point. I think he is to good for CHL in a way, I think he needs a challenge and since this stupid AHL rule is still around id be more than happy to see him go to Sweden or Finland next season.
Edit: Maybe the KHL and can partner with Tryamkin |

With all the talk about trading Edler and Tanev, what do you replace them with? Remember, there is probably a good chance we lose Sbisa in the expansion draft. |
