Everybody wants Edler to get the (frank) out of town but it may take time. Benning should pressure him all season until he agrees to a move. A TDL deal could get a couple decent picks - CanuckDon
Best time to do it with a guy like him is during the summer, gives him a chance to think about it for 2-3 weeks(if Benning asks him in late may/early june). Plenty of time to come up with a list he's comfortable with and gives him all summer to get settled into a new city/country.
I don't think he'd respond well to being pressured a week or 2 before the TDL. |

So we're drawing the cap space line at Edler now? I want the guy gone too, but exposing him for cap space alone is (frank)ing idiotic. Hilarious seeing the same posters who defended Sutter/Sbisa's contracts now want Edler gone for cap space alone

I'd be surprised (very surprised) if Benning hasn't or doesn't ask him before the draft. |

Firstly I think most people do view Benning as the laughing stock already
Secondly a lot of teams will be using the expansion draft to move unwanted players - VANTEL
I am glad the NHL is making the exposure list public. I think its an advantage of JB to sell a guy like Elder to other GM's once we know their rankings based on who teams protected and left exposed |

Exposing Horvat would also help with our cap space - CanuckDon
Well that scrub is playing on a 29th place team and played on a bottom feeder last year as well so he sucks. #HBLogic |

That scrub spent time on the 29th placed teams 4th line. Give Horvat two choices. Vegas or be shot out of a cannon |

He's good. But much like Bo, he's a number 2 not a #1` - neem55
22 years old and put up almost 60 points playing through injuries ...I'm not ready to call him just a #2C |

You are exposing him because he is a useless pillow biter. Some people here think he is good but many elsewhere can't stand the guy.
The four teams this year that dramatic jumps this year were the Habs Oilers Blue Jackets and Leafs .Leafs and Oilers have been on a ten year rebuild but recently got rid of a lot of dead wood. Edler is dead wood . Embrace the change . It can't get worse.

I've been saying for Benning to ask LV what they would trade for have Edler exposed. If we could get a 2nd and a 3rd for him or better then expose him. I would do the same with Sutter, see if they want them exposed and take an offer. If teams can trade picks for certain players to be exposed, why can't the opposite happen? - Retinalz
Sure, I'd love to see either or both deals happen. Vegas will have plenty of overpaid players to choose from though. Also, trading/exposing Sutter isn't realistic. Benning is high on him for some reason, so don't hold your breathe.
I hope he does call Vegas about Edler though. |

Probably Larsen...he has more heart and he doesn't need to worry about big mean NHLers trying to hurt him |

Why?
The change so far sucks...so many terrible moves and only a few decent ones. This team is a laughing stock for a reason, some of the moves they made are just stupid and looked bad right away, not just in hindsight.
People blindly supporting this pathetic "re-tool" attempt deserve this team. |

I'd be happy to drive him to the airport. |
