Leafs fans seemed pretty happy ever since Lou/Shanny/Dubas/Hunter took over even though they sucked. Why? because every move they made had logic behind it and there was light at the end of the tunnel.

Didn't see it, but no it doesn't make it better IMO. There isn't enough near-NHL ready depth, nor is there any top end talent that is close either, Utica will be a very young and inexperienced team. They will have ups and downs and until there is further development, they could all be great, average or busts. I think Utica has its best potential in a long time, but potential is just that, potential and not guaranteed

Any ELC guys or young guys not established for the depth candadtes for Nucks? I see 5 roster spots and 3 extras for total of 8 up for grabs on Nucks.

Do they fill from that list of players on page 13? Or try to sign a couple pump and dump UFA's? If any will come. Maybe developing the potential, on rotation from line up to roster, is only route open.

People can change their mind about players or Mgmt it happens all the time but at least they don't turn their back on the team.

Chicago made the playoffs and were one of the top teams and Bowman made a promise today that there will be big changes but Chanucks management who have had a team that has sucked for years still remain attached to a sinking ship

Stop making and taking everything so personal, we were talking about Edler and the value of cap space. Stick to that.

Best time to do it with a guy like him is during the summer, gives him a chance to think about it for 2-3 weeks(if Benning asks him in late may/early june). Plenty of time to come up with a list he's comfortable with and gives him all summer to get settled into a new city/country.

I don't think he'd respond well to being pressured a week or 2 before the TDL.
