Megna and Chaput were suppose to just be depth players and they were better options for depth then what we had in Utica. Skilled is all on WD, he was here on a PTO. Vrbata was a good signing, short contract and scored 30 goals in his 1st yr....WD was to blame for the 2nd season. Vey, Clendening, Bark, Prust, were busts. Etem and Weber weren't terrible at the time of coming in.

I actually really like Skille common theme among most of the "scraps" listed above. They mostly are/ were contributing on other teams since leaving Vancouver. They are depth players which every team needs

Yes, and at the start of the yr they, in their own mind, were trying to make the playoffs. So yes, it has taken them 2.75 yrs to realize they need a full rebuild.

Sound points. When there are no propects for depth that's what you are left with stop gaps or fringe projects.
Looking at where Nucks are with signed players that's changing for next season. Just look at the amount of ELC players added.

Friedman said that JB wanted to rebuild and FA refused essentially.. Maybe thats why he is keeping his job because FA knows this mess is all on him.
