Trolling indeed.
Reality is that you can't accept the truth when presented to you, no matter how concrete the evidence. - golfingsince
That has no bearing on the previous post you commented on. This is misleading to say the least if you are trying to tie two different aspects into one. Your follow up statement is disengenous and false.
The other post you copied was from yesterday. That was the first one. Early on before any official release from Canucks. The news we had was off a tweet. Even now, the points raised in that post are being discussed in the media and by fans. That's a reality. There is nothing wrong with that.
By the way. I have learned that issues have angles to them. They are not always just what's being presented.
Tree is gone for now. Let's see what unfolds from here. |

You don't think he's desperate to sell tickets? - A_SteamingLombardi
Why did you have to post his picture, it upset me.
Of course he is desparate to sell tickets, he is a dink.
You're a good poster. |

When teams rush their prospects it reeks of desperation. I sure hope Van isn't desperate enough to rush their prospects to help sell tickets. If this is the case he are going to suck for yrs to come. - Kaynine
It's only "rushing" if aspects of their skillset still require a coat of polish against lesser competition... We don't know if that's the case with Dahlen until he plays on NA ice & we get to see how he deals with less space/more physicality. His skillset itself doesn't need seasoning, just a chance to transition timing, awareness & habits to the NA game. |

If he's worried about money then reduce the amount being spent on salaries. Reduce the cap hit/salaries could equal what he would have made on a playoff round.

Yes it does. At first you wouldn't accept it and now that you have no choice you won't accept it for the reasons given.
You have to find your own angle, so you can continue to try and blame who you want for the team's lack of success.
Of course, you denied that they sucked for a long time and called all of us guys who've been posting here for years non-fans for declaring them a garbage team. |

I doubt the money was much more than 1.8 at the most and would be surprised if it approached 2.5. Once you factor in taxes in BC he's taking home like 12 bucks of that.
Back home KHL players don't get charged tax on their salaries, or maybe its their signing bonuses, and I think if he got any number that beats his post-tax earnings here, or ever close enough that less isn't a big deal, he probably took it gladly once mixing in family and the Olympics. - Lindenis#1

Big deal 12 000 is what you pay for a meal.
Remember when Leaf fans came and trolled about Burrows and Kesler .
Martin picking a fight with Stecher and Kadri has crowned them the biggest douche team now . Classless in every way. |

No. You said I denied the news. Which is not true and misleading. I only asked, at first, as in what was going on. Also, I haven't assigned any blame. That's your buddy ASL. He first kept posting fire management over this.
Your last paragraph is your own hyperbole BS. You can declare the team whatever you want. That is your right. I don't have to totally agree with you. But my point back then, only had a small measure of difference. Never did I say this team was great or a playoff team. I did believe that coaching mattered. But at best this was a bubble team. That meant things had to go right. Thin margin for error. It didn't.
Just glad that more youth is here and hopefully worked in more to keep developing. You may call them all bad and see everything as dark as you want. I will just be measured and take it one step at a time. |

Look at the replay again ...he gets hacked by niskanen right after the ovie tap ...still a bit much but it doesn't look as bad |

Absolutely. Kind of player he is. Hate to play against him, but I assume, most love him on their team |

well....in their defense, Tryamkin would have become a UFA if they didn't sign him so they were in no position to not offer that clause. They just needed to lock up their pick. In regards to Dahlen, perhaps he said he will sign this year if they put in the clause and if not, wait a year before signing. So if he doesn't make the Canucks he can excersize his option to play in the SEL which is totally fine. At least he can get some training done in Van and we will all get to see him in the preaseason - CanuckDon
This all sounds reasonable. You may get the entitlement retorts. As a fan you want players to play their hardest for cheap and not have any rights to bind the team. But reality is different. So can't begrudge players having options and negotiating a contract. |
