No. Almost every thought or post now will come from twitter or what is happening in a game. I just found it a little odd the data gives the Blues the edge of the Preds. |

I really don't know if they have set dates in mind for when the next series start, or if they would move it up it series ended today
the league really shouldn't go 5 days without hockey with the buzz it has right now - jimbro83
Normally it doesn't even matter if 2 series end in sweeps w the teams playing each other next. It's pre set when the series will start, even if that means 7/8/9 days off in a row. |

Just such a relieved, happy feeling today. NO Game 7, get to watch our potential next opponents beat each other up hopefully for 2 more games. |

I could make that circle, randomize all the percentages in each box, tweet it and nobody would even question how the numbers were calculated |

my god how much would the Blues rather have Shattenkirk right now instead of a very very late first round pick in a weak draft |

All 3 head coaches yesterday eliminated their former teams. AV with the Habs, Yeo with the Wild, and McClellan with the Sharks. |

Any quotes from Ott or Gallagher afterwards? - RustyKuntz
Brendan Gallager said after the game that it was a close series but one where the Rangers did "a few more good things" than the Habs did. (Rangers Game Notes)
Alex Radulov said that the bottom line was that the Habs couldn't get past Henrik Lundqvist. (NHL.com)
Shea Weber said that the Rangers were the better team and deserved to win. (NHL.com)
Max Pacioretty, who was held without a goal, said that the chances for his team were there but that Lundqvist played "great." (Montreal Gazette)
Montreal coach Claude Julien said that his team tried "everything" they could to score but ran into the Rangers best player in Henrik Lundqvist. (Rangers Game Notes)
He said that he thinks Montreal had more scoring chances overall than the Rangers did but that the Rangers made the most out of their opportunities. (Rangers Game Notes)
Julien said that his team worked hard but "we weren't good enough and that's why we lost" and "at the end of the day, we just couldn't put it past that goaltender, that's what comes back to haunt you. You have to make the most out of your grade-A chances, and unfortunately like I said, we ran into their best player, which is their goaltender." (Rangers Game Notes) |

man, Jeff Petry makes 5.5 mil a year with a NMC until 2021
he's pretty good I guess, but, it just shows you the price of defensemen in this league |

It's why if you can get Smith for anything around 4.5 you do it |

it's going to come down to giving out a NMC again I think
I think the Rangers and Smith will see eye to eye on $$$, it's that NMC that will be a stickler |
