No kidding. This year might not be the norm, but the league can't let this happen again. The 2 best teams in the league playing each other before the Conference Final or after. I hate this playoff format. I hope the NHL goes back to 1-8. Just in time for the Sabres to have to play the best team in the Conference round 1. Wishful thinking.
