I'd be surprised if he goes top 10. Makar and Heiskanen have clearly passed him and I suspect Foote and Valimaki have as well.

Did anyone watch Liljegren play during the u18s? He is good when puck is on his stick, but his passing is below average and he appeared to be caught out of position regularly.
Even TSN commentator was talking about his poor play all season.

Heiskanen I think has improved his rating/draft position more than anyone in the draft.

MTL fans are brutal. I heard the morning after they were eliminated, TSN radio MTL opened up their phone calls and EVERY caller was calling for management to trade Carey Price. Meanwhile, where was Paccioretty or Galchenyuk all series. Radulov and Gallagher and Byron and Lehkonen were the only ones who did anything offensively.

Yeah that's just terrible on their part to blame Price. If they were going to trade him there would be 30 other teams lined up.

Yes he got outdueled by the King, but it wouldn't have mattered if half their roster wasn't terrible or their best players weren't absent.

I think they are constructed fine, and despite Weber being eliminated and Subban moving on, I would do that trade in a heartbeat if I was MTL. I just think Marc Bergevin needs to stop focusing on 4th liners at TDL. Ott/King/Martinsen? Really? Benn was a great pick up, but what a awful TDL for a team that was doing really well in the regular.

I just don't get the hype...I remember first watching footage of him back in October and nothing stood out to me. I think that's the problem with young D playing against men. If they don't get run out of the rink they are over hyped. Liljegren has looked weak against his peer group.

agreed. MTL has a dark future in my opinion.

They lack scoring in terms of a #1 C a #2 C and a couple of top 6 wingers... Kreider did nothing, Stepan was quiet, Miller, Hayes only had 1 point each, all that yet the Rangers outscored the Habs. Pretty embarassing for MTL if you ask me
