These Oil and Leaf series showing youth loaded teams can compete. So looking at What IF youth theme for Nucks.

Don't expect lots of wins. But at least develop some scoring.(chances) Plus Nucks don't have a real 1st line. So why not a 2nd and bunch of 3rd lines.

Keep the grit guys in AHL to develop offensive touch and skill guys grit in the NHL.

Without any trades to clear cap space there is a limited reality to moves and what players Nucks can have on roster. They have $18M cap space for next season with 7 players to sign. That includes Bo and Guddy that could take away $9M. Leaving $11M for 5 guys.

So probably a couple ELC players will be added. Allows for show me qualifiers on Boucher, Rodin, Cram and Guance. If they want to keep them. This helps with Tree waiting out till next season to see what happens.

I hear you. Though some of our ELC guys have 2nd line potential. One may have 1st line. That's something to look at for development on the roster.

We are missing pure dazzle talent but hey that's a hit or miss find. Like you said may come in next few seasons. Any Bure type guys in Estonia or Khazakstan that were overlooked
