Meh, Big Ben and Rodgers do that poop too and their O-lines aren't considered to be problems.
Seattle spends the least on it's O-line probably in the entire league, and it shows. - golfingsince
Well I think they should try calling plays to make the most of their OL paradigm before blowing up a generational defense to afford higher profile OL that won't make much of a difference.
This sh!tty OL blocked for the #1 run game in the NFL 2 of the past 3yrs. We just need to get the ball out of Wilson's hands quicker.
Also, Big Ben & Rodgers might LOOK like they're scrambling as much as Wilson, but these are huge differences.

So Green is Lindens choice but not Bennings? Am I reading between the lines correctly? |

Could be apart of the moneyball strategy....NE cheaps out on their o-line but then again, Brady usually doesn't hold onto the ball for very long. |

Who knows, I assume Linden was the one who vouched for WD as well with their MH connection, but you have to believe that Benning has a say. |

You're giving me stats from Wilson's rookie year.
Also, check out PFF's o-line grades. The Hawks o-line hasn't graded better than 19th in 3 years. They're around 30th for the past 2 years. |

I saw the same thing between the lines
Linden: Green is the Canuck choice, best guy for the job
Benning: I disagree, we want someone with experience
Canucks Statement: The entire management staff is really excited with the work Travis is done and will continue to do with the NHL club

When have these 2 ever been on the same page.
One of them says they are the playoff team, while the other one thinks otherwise.

Lamp and Ramczyk are really meh to me, I don't think they'll bust but I don't see them as strong value picks.
Bolles and Dawkins I think have the upside to be above average starters. Dawkins is definitely one of my favs in the entire draft. The potential to use him as an athletic pull guard in a scheme is intriguing as hell. He'll create extra yards on sweep runs, screens, etc |

Line needs lot's of work, King could also be a fit at CB as well. Look for Schneider to trade down again if a lot of QB's go early. |

I saw the Seahawks led the NFL in rushing once (2014) and were top 3 another year. Last year they were 25th. Spending draft picks on an O-line isn't the same and reaching in free agency. |

One should just stop talking, and though Trevor is better at public speaking than JB, it should probably be him.
Benning is at least refreshingly honest about what he does, Trevor is pumping too much PR for my liking. Likely Aquaman's mouthpiece |

Dude, the knock against him is his movement. He's more of a power scheme guy. |

Another weak QB class, only guy I think has nice potential is Trubisky. |

Conventional OL grading doesn't take what we're asking them to do into account & weight it properly... Not sure how I (frank)ed up looking for the right years stats, but the fact remains - Russ and the offense in general aren't doing the OL any favours. We need quicker passing, the return of read-option (with Russ being mobile again), and some continuity so the OL can develop chemistry & stay in their lanes (literally and figuratively). |

I've read that and I just don't get it.
For his weight and position, his 40 time was decent. His 3 cone time was very good for his weight and for a guard. The tape on him when he's actually moving doesn't seem bad at all.
I don't think he's going to be some HOF player, but in a weak O-line class in terms of depth, he stands out to me. |

Where are you pulling said consolidated rankings? He's all over people's lists. Some lists have him at 11, ISS doesn't even have him in the top 31.

Here is a consolidated list from February that has him 13th. His stock has risen since the U18's. Not to mention Liljegren stocks has fallen. Teams may be more likely to draft for positional need this year due to a lack of consensus in the top 10. |

I'll suggest the stats you showed had more to do with RW being a rookie and not being able to find someone as anything else.
I agree that more slants and a faster passing game will help, especially with the type of WR that you have.
However, spending some picks on the O-line isn't a bad way to go either. They won't all pan out like Okung. |
