Failed drug test, kicked out of combine and concussion issues. Seems like someone the new regime would steer clear of - MCGUIZZY
I seriously had to be reminded that the draft was this week. |

This is not about individual positions... The scoring in the NFL has not tanked due to expansion like the NHL has.... - rapperray
That's because in the NFL a defender is not allowed to even breath on a receiver. No kidding scores are 35-30. |

I don't think it's changed one bit
If anything I think the cap brings down today's nhl more than the talent pool
6 to 8 superstars, like in other eras
20-40 really great players that could be hall of fame guys if they keep their foot on the pedal - homiedclown
You think so Homie? I gotta tell you I can't name a player who I would call the "face of the nhl" like Gretzky was or even Lemieux. And who will be the next 70 goal scorer? I don't see anyone doing it... |

Yeah, I don't buy that one either. A great quarterback dominates his sport more than any other sport. The center in basketball used to be #2 until Jordan and LeBron came into the game. - buffalofan19
Gotta disagree... Tom Brady on the Bills would not be nearly as great as he is... Takes 10 other guys too... |

they are the face of the nhl
as for 70 goal scorers, no time soon, in many ways because the d is so much better than in the 80s/early 90s

I agree
which is why I think they trade back to browns second pick, for a second and then have an extra pick for a starter
deep draft for db's and wr's
as well as rb's after the 3rd rd |

I agree they are stars Homie but not in the very public, everyone knows them, way that Gretzky was... And they are not nearly the dominant players he was... Very good players yes... |

They are probably higher, but it's apples and oranges. The players today are bigger, faster, and stronger, and therefore the playing field is more even. Video and technology, coupled with players just being flat out bigger and stronger allow for the playing field to be leveled more than it did back then.
There were also fewer teams, so the talent is a lot more saturated than it was in that era where there was anywhere from only 16-24 teams (perhaps even less if you pick the correct era?). - buffalofan19
This is not really what you're trying to say.
The talent is more diluted when there are more teams, not more "saturated." |

I could get excited about him.
I think they go Lattimore, Hooker if there or trade down for Howard potentially.
My pick is Mike Williams tho |

No updates, probably will be quite until the season gets under way, at least maybe from where I get my info. Kind of hard to get any info after what has taken place. |

I'm down with OJ, Adams (doubt he'll be there), Mike Williams, Corey Davis or Foster. Need a day one starter for some position of need, not Mitchy Biscuits, especially when the McDavid Draft class of Quarterbacks is next season. Wouldn't be 100% in love with Lattimore or Hooker, but would be ok with it if it happened. Like the idea of trading back too. I think we go Offense round 1 and defense round 2 and 3. Get it effin crankin! 2 days away. Can't wait. Love the draft. At least the 1st round. |

For sure. He was a monster two championship games ago. I was like, who is this guy and when is he draft eligible? Check his stat line from that game. |

The bills wined and dined with Joe Mixon and Josh Dobbs according to my friend in the restaurant world. I feel like i haven't heard that from any insiders so maybe they are possibilities.
Correction: It was Davis Webb not Dobbs |
