Edit: 2018/19 will see this team bottom out like the Avs this year.

I'm willing to give Green a chance before freaking out over the hiring. It's not like he did a bad job with Utica or benefited for stacked rosters in the AHL(WHL, sure).

This will be an interesting time with Green coaching. He's supposedly coming in to develop young players into the team. But others are saying keep them off the team. Play fringe players with no future outlook instead. Plus more of the vets?

Then, there are the Sedins in contract year that want to rebound from poor season. They will want to go out and prove it and thus need the icetime to do it. So what will Green do? Short leash them? Keep the young guys to learn with key deployments?

Tough call on Green. Not sure if he's got Sutter like balls to take on the challenge. Though if we are going to lose don't mind if Nucks do it with offense first and developing guys who are only 75% ready. Better that then seeing the same old same all. Plus fringe players getting lots of ice time because they know how to play defense better. Anything is better then that.

Heck what if doing things different produces the result of the youth scoring at the NHL level. Wouldn't that be a good development?
