More or less i was comparing Foote to a better Brandon Carlo, Carlo dropped down to the second round, and he was a good for boston. Ideally yes we could use a second pick to draft Glass probably between 8-12, but id much prefure patrick/nico/vilardi/mittlestadt over a dman in this draft - phyllee
I'd take Patrick or Nico, after that i'm not sold on anyone. |

I just find it annoying, that every year our need is to find a CB, and we draft a god damn OLB or LB. - SRam19
Yeah your secondary is still a mess.
It's like that insanity where you come out and play the Pats the same every time and figure " this is our turn!" |
|
|
|
You looking for him as a DE or an OLB? - golfingsince
Both... Avril understudy who could also play Mike Morgan's role. |

You're so gullible, it simple means I'd have less interest in the team until they're gone. I've been watching the same movie for too long. - LeftCoaster
I just find the "I am done" amusing. I am sure you will still be a Canucks fan even if they resign the Sedin's for 5 years. |

Ahh, OK.
I still want a LB, S, CB and if a decent G is available then one of those too. |

Yeah, he's pretty raw but he's in the same athleticism boat as Mack & TJ Watt... 12 TFL, 8.5 sacks in only 8 games last year.

Pretty much.
Foote is the guy many seem to want but we need that 10-20 pick.
Hischier seems to be the consensus over Patrick as well. |

It's sort of the same as when people were like some scouts are saying that Eichel could be better then McDavid. Like (frank) dream on but it's good for the draft.
Talk about JP being picked higher then Laine. Lol it's not happening but the media will make you think so.
Hischier is second to Patrick. The only way Patrick goes second or is the second best player in the draft is if he doesn't play as many games because of injury in his NHL career. |

well, scouts from 10 out of 20 teams disagree with you. |

You never responded to my coaching opinion post.
I still don't think there is any such thing as a NHL coach that doesn't work well with youth. I think the reasons why a coach chooses not to play youth or has a reputation of being a "veteran players coach" has more to do with off-ice pressures and inside politics. Rather than being a coach that dislikes or mistrusts youth. |

I know right. JB did a interview with Joey Kenward. Talking about the draft picks. JB states there are 1-2 and then 3 on for tiers. Again also mentioning 1-2 could possibly step in to the NHL this year. Playmaking center or top pairing PP defensemen. I'd link the interview but I saw it on Facebook posted about 40 minutes ago. |

JB trades Edler, LE (retain salary) plus Rodin to Sens for Brown, Chabot & 2nd
so Aging + bad contract, Aging plus bad contract (salary retained) and a peach for a good prospect, one of the best defensive prospects and a 2nd round pick?
Sutter & Boucher traded to desperate Habs @ TDL for Noah Juulson & 3rd
Sutter and a waiver wire to Habs for their 2nd best defensive prospect and a 3rd?
These are pretty unrealistic man.. - Codes1087
does the not work anymore at the top of the post
Don't you like how day after day we have trade vet calls for prospects/picks.
That said you never know the value, after EVERYONE, especially your so called realistic knowledge, completely underestimated what JB got for Burr and Hansen.
The TDL can be the right the ship tool for the next tank play by JB |

that's my fear as well...but, Benning puts a lot of weight on international competition and Heiskanen was great and Liljegren was brutal. Hopefully they no longer view Liljegren as a top 10 pick. |

What about Nolan Foote he's 2019 eligible. Already scoring at .75 ppg in the WHL. 6'3 177 lbs already. - manvanfan
Will Nucks have a vet left by 2019 to trade for his draft position
That said sure all picks will be speculated on for what the Nucks need. He looks like another can help. Add him to the list. |
