Vlasic plays with Burns. If you look at all his high production seasons they are with Burns, and most all assists. If Tanev had a left handed Burns to play wit his offensive numbers would be better as well.

I will not deny that Vlasic is better than Tanev. But I would still put both of them top 5 in the league when it comes to actually defending. I laugh when leafs fans say they will go after Vatanen if Tanev costs too much. Just what they need, another defenseman who can score but not that good at defending.
