Woo, big day tomorrow, I get to come home for one day off before heading to Ottawa the next day......oh and there's also some meaningless lottery draft - Makita
Too bad that JB didn't add in another conditional pick for Burrows. |

I can't be too upset with the Dolphins draft so far, as they did address 3 areas of need. I'm still hoping they can grab a safety and a guard. I also wouldn't mind Jake Butt if he makes it to the 5th. |

I love how Glenn Healy the other day writes a big piece claiming the rest of Canada is envious of the Leafs. As I sit there watching the Oilers with their way deeper team they built playing in the 2nd round up two games and already forgotten about the earth shattering 2 wins the Leafs managed against a typical poor performance by the Caps. Then there's Quebec's other team, the Sens ahead in the 2nd round.... but it's all Leafs Envy in their arrogant little brains.
I don't care what anyone says,,, I already know we are going to take our time and draft a deeper team and not cash in as soon as we have an big scoring line. Maybe we don't land a Mathews player(maybe we do).... but we all know a team is not going to win a championship on offence alone anymore. That's where Leafs fans and their west coast promoters are "out of touch". You can only get so far in a two year rebuild. Mathews or no Mathews. Exciting hockey or not. Toronto will start losing depth soon, will be up against the cap and the entire worthy prospect pool has already graduated. They will be an exciting team who falls short year after year. |

I'm pretty sad the Broncos didn't get a RB when a couple were still on the board. |

Well here it is, the day has arrived where the Canucks pick top two (the odds are in their favor) and finally get a great young center to play with Horvat for years to come! |

Honestly and sincerely, good luck in the lottery tonight guys. I rag on the Canucks a lot but I do have a lot of family and friends that are "canuckleheads".
It would also be better if a CAD team won 1st overall rather than COL, NJ, ARZ, VEG, etc. |

For the record, Healy is a clown. I'm not sure where your assessment of the Leafs depth is coming from though. They had nine rookies in the lineup for most of the year. The depth is based on youth. Why would they lose it? What makes you assume the rebuild is over?

Jesus Booner. Don't let it rile you up.
Why do Van fans continue to get wound up by idiots like Healy, Cox, Kipper etc? It's madness. I swear to poop it's the only fanbase that listens to these clowns. You never see Flames, Sens, Jets, Oilers, Canadians or Leafs fans quoting these guys.
Nucks fans are solely responsible for TSN still being an entity.

Good luck guys. Unfortunately I have a feeling some sad sack American team like Dallas and New Jersey will get the top 2 picks.
Good core players are available though. Mittelstadt, Vilardi, Glass... you will get a piece of the puzzle. |

During them doing commentary on our games. A Leafs hater and a Nucks fans doing our games every Saturday. Yay.
Other than Nucks fans, I honestly don't know own anyone who watches TSN or sportsnet anymore, now there are so many other media outlets. It's bizarre. It's like they have season tickets for a team they don't like, then complain

Not at all. It's common knowledge among every fan base that guys like Healy, Cox, Kipper, Simmonds, Hughson are idots.
Every fan base knows this and gets on with their lives accordingly.
What you find out this board though is constant reading and quoting of said idiots and then further explanation of how the Leafs have no prospects, no depth and soon to be no cap room, presumably because they drafted Matthews.
It's funky town in here.
Good luck tonight. |

Meh. All fans of any team get lumped together.
The most common start to a sentence in North America?
Leafs fans........ |

Just check Booner's original post for an example. Not certain Leafs fans, ALL Leafs fans.
But that's OK. We've fought oppressors and bullies our while lives. It's what makes Leafs Nation stronger and bigger. |

You'll also notice until he said something there wasn't a mention of the Leafs for pages, so then you lump everyone together and say we're talking about the Leafs...which is false.
Now scram so we can talk about the lottery and how we're going to win |

Craig Button believe that Patrick would be better for the Nucks instead of Hischier.
I know believe that JB board looks like this
Hischier
Patrick
Liljegren
Mittelstadt
Vilardi |
|
