Leafsnet even put a story out about Matthews only scoring in losses and "should we be worried?".... it was really pathetic.... I was telling them all to be patient, we are only two months into their rookie season...

So your saying go find a ramo, hiller, elliott, Johnson...or draft a Irving, ortio, keetley, McIlhiney...trust me giving up a first rounder and having a good goalie for 5 mil a season is a good idea

I think what he is trying to get at is you dont have to spend a 1st rounder to get a good goalie.....we didnt give up a first for Talbot and im sure if I did some research you can see goalie trades that were done without using a 1st round pick...said 1st round pick can be used to find that possible stud blueliner that is needed

Haha yeah, the colour of it looks like it has a real strong blueberry taste. Their Milkshake IPA from around Christmas time was the best beer I think I've ever had

You are cherry picking what I've said over several posts. They made these trades to chase the playoffs... plain and simple. Short rebuild... now onto a different stage. I said this already a couple of times. I don't care if you disagree. I'm done repeating myself.

yea. the 1st was basically a 2nd anyway. so instead of 2 2nds or a 2nd and 3rd, they gave up the last pick in the 1st. not bad.

Yes I get that you can use the first to get a D man ...who might turn into a NHLer...who knows ....they needed a goalie and they needed a D man ...they got one of those now ...my examples of the recent attempts at either drafting or signing a goalie for the flames shows how difficult it can be to find a good goalie without giving up a first ...being an oilers fan you should see how important it is to get a good goalie
