Maybe or Ward - VANTEL
expose Ward and start Lack and darling?
that gives Markstrom and Bachman a run for their money!
starting the tankoff a bit early aren't they?!?
Hat tip for the commitment. |

Yeah , I don't think Vegas would take Lack. |

I sure hope Canucks go with Bachman and Marky next year. I get what Don is saying but this sets Canucks up for two years (extend Bachman two years) of finishing low .
It may also push a Swedish veteran Dman to leave Dodge. |

We need two more bottom finishes to get this thing done right. |

I understand your perspective and I'm not concerned which way the club chooses to go. But I get the desire to bring back Miller. We are going to suck either way. Would you rather lose 4-3 or 6-3? We are going to have a young roster, possibly the youngest in the league. I don't want the kids to be terrified about making mistakes because it's going to end up in their net more often than not. Having a safe, reliable vet in net isn't a bad thing. Also, Miller showed tremendous leadership when he stuck up for Stetcher. That's my 2 cents on the matter |

Having Miller in net we finished what? 29th and 27th the past 2 years.
If he insulates the kids and provides leadership and we still finish low, im in. |

At 3 million for one year I wouldn't disagree with you, a lot of good cheaper backups can play behind Markstrom though. I believe Marky has earned way more starts. |

Let's sign him for $3MM for one year I actually don't really care what he earns as long as it's one year |

Bachman is already under contract there's no reason to extend him, Demko might be ready for 18/19. |

Cap space is a valuable tool at the draft. |

who are the other UFA goalies besides miller?
Bishop come to mind, but not sure if their are other less renowned vets available.
i still think Bachman is a plug.
edit: MAF not a UFA.
others i found:
Bernier
Mason
Pavlec
Elliot
Lehner
Johnson
Kuemper
Bera
none appeal to me personally. |

I think Miller stole us 10 points last year , that could be the difference in drafting Dahlin .
I honestly respect your passion and Last year I agreed 100% . This year now that we have announced rebuild , I know we have to take a two year kick to the nuts. I bought a super strong jock. |

After watching this hockey it makes me realize I'm glad I sleep through most of the Canuck season. I really hope they can make this team entertaining again. |
